What wedding hair should I ask for?

I'm looking at hair styles for my wedding and I'm not sure what to look at. I have an oblong face shape with a high forehead. I don't have/want bangs. I'll be wearing a 2 tier veil if that makes a difference. My dress is simple white with the gathered bottom. Most sites say that oblong face shapes look good with a slicked back look but that makes my forehead look worse. Any ideas?What wedding hair should I ask for?

You could do a slicked back look, but leave some tendrils of hair framing your face. Or, maybe use a portion of your hair to do 'bang-like' sweep across your forehead, and be reincorporated into the updo. Stylists can be very resourceful with this.





I am having a very sleek look - with a low bun (or French twist - haven't decided), with a gardenia on either side, a la Billie Holiday, and idol of mine.
