I am getting married this summer and have very thin, fine hair but want may hair to look fabulous. It does hold a curl, though not well enough to even attempt to wear my hair down. It is currently almost waist length (I have grown it so they have the most amount of hair possible to work with and if it needs to be cut then, cut away) and I am thinking of a Jennifer Lopez low curly bun style maybe. Does anybody have any pics of wedding hair with someone with thin, fine hair?? Thank you all!Wedding hair for someone with thin, fine hair???
(Steph, your pic is amazing! LOVE your bouquet!)
For the hair, wear it all up in some classic style - like a french twist, or chignon.

I have the exact same hair. I was married 3 years ago, and went specifically to a stylist who specialized in hair for weddings. He told me I had to wear it up...and thankfully it was long enough to do so. He said that on a special day like a wedding, it's best to wear your hair in a way you don't normally wear it - plus, who wants to be brushing it for every photo and restyling....with it up it was so easy to get through the day and helped emmensely - pictures turned out great too.
Find a stylist who specifically does hair for weddings and make sure to bring a picture of your dress too.
You have a longer version of my hair!!! For my wedding I had my hair professionally done, and it looked great! Although, I had about 200 bobby pins, and 2 cans of hairspray - just to get it to have the fullness I wanted.
My hair was down to the middle of my back, and when I would put it up, I could use a small child's elastic band, and still, my hair would fall out because I couldn't get it tight enough.

Good luck, and Congratulations!!!
Get some real hair extensions. They are a bit pricey, but they are definitely worth it.
I have very thin, fine hair and I got the real hair extensions for my wedding. Gave my hair so much body and volume. Best part about the real one is you can curl, shampoo, hairspray them, etc. and they clip right in. Your stylist should know a good brand to recommend.
try something simple. like a nice upkeep. or even something with curls! my hair is very thin too but for my sister's wedding i wore it in a braid. it was very pretty. it your big day %26amp; plus if the weather is hot. something up will keep you cool! Congrants on your big day :)
wear it down with a sliight wave in it. It'll look classy.

Have you thought about clip-in hari extensions to add body and thickness? They are made with real hair, temporary and not too expensive. You can get enough for your whole head for about 65 bucks.
Uh NO! How can you copy J Lo's style if you have thin hair? It's going to come out horrible
ooh i have fine thin hair too! lol..
here are some of my wedding photos- sorry you can't see my hair to well

i just took a photo of the design i liked to my hair dresser and asked her to make it look as close to it as possible...my hair doesn't normally curl to well (but it did for my wedding- lots and lots of hairspray-lol)
i would say to have it all up- as then it makes it look like you have more hair...when you only have half up, the part that is left down looks way to thin (just what i think from my experiences...)
good luck and have fun!
hey lydia- thanks! my sister did my flowers for me. she bought them at costco and then made all the arrangements.. =)
