Wedding hair help for shorter hair?

My hair is sort of between shoulder and chin length. The bottom is layered and I have bangs. We are having a Star Wars wedding and was wondering how I could do my hair in a kind of sci fi style. I dont really care for the leia braids plus my hair isn't long enough. Do you have any other sugestions.Wedding hair help for shorter hair?
Have your stylist twist your hair in a bunch of little buns and leave the ends out to make them spiky all over.





EDIT: If you have a friends help you can probably do the style above... Or you can just make a ponytail twist it up and then put a clip around the twist and leave the ends out that will also have a spiky affect. It just wont be as full. try something that padme did with her hair. you could get extensions, or just have the beautician do something similar. I liked the way her hair was during the attack of the clones in the white outfit at the end. you could add a flower in your hair at the base of the hair line just under your ear. suprisingly enough, it's a very easy hairstyle. once you have all your hair at the base of your neck, take sections of it and twist them till you have little figure 8's. then just bobby pin them in place. a friend could help you do this a few weeks in advance to make sure you have it right. here is a wedding I shot where the bride's hair was similar: http://thompsonsphotography.blogspot.com鈥?/a>
