Wedding hair do and how to fix it?

I'm getting married 8-8-08. I need ideas for a hair do and how to do it. I would like to have it either all the way up or some up and some down. I know I do not want it all the way down because the wedding is outside and it will be in the upper 90's. I need any ideas or tips you can give me and what products would be best to use. I'm not that good with hair. My hair is about a 1/2 in past my shoulders. Anything would be helpful thank you!Wedding hair do and how to fix it?
Go to a salon but here are some styles you could ask about,

wow cool date to get married!

first off, you know your hair the best, so make sure you tell the person doing your hair your concerns, and they should be able to give you some great input on what to do with it. my recommendation since it will be really hot is to have it all up. you dont want to be sweaty on your big day!

best products:

anything by bumble and bumble, which can be found in salons. its the only thing i buy that keeps my curly hair straight!
look at some of these. i like the second one the best.

hope i helped some.
Go to the salon once a week and try some different up dos with your head piece until you find one that you like. Don't try to do it yourself on your wedding day you will be nervous and don't need that worry. My sister in law try to do her own up do ... what a fiasco.
what my aunt did for her wedding (7-7-07) was she got extensions and put most of her hair in a type of swirly up-do with braids and a small part of the sides down and some of the bottom down
